Two haiku on sleeping.
while dreaming it makes
perfect sense until dawn breaks
and shadows awake
-----
we share this sleep in
conversation silently
forgotten by dawn
a breath of sleep(lessness)
more sleepy breaths from the poets at one deep breath.

I really like these haiku. I think you have captured sleep perfectly.
:)
How true. Trying to explain dreams just sometimes seems impossible. You have to be there.
Oh it is so true, dreams make perfect sense and then you wake up...
So true! I wonder why that is?
I so like the first one, but the second one draws me in. Marvelous, that.
That last one was a perfect way to describe a dream.
i often feel as if my dreams make 'perfect sense' and it is life that is full of shadows, so I loved your first haiku, and enjoyed the quiet feel to the second one.
yes your words are so true. We wake up and a shade falls down between the two places. so well done.
