A sobering haiku for the New Year. Best wishes to your grandmother during her illness.

Your grandma has many prayers. I loved my grandma Hill dearly, and she is still with me in many important ways.

This reminds me that Janus was a god who looked both ways - forward and back. Best wishes for your grandma.

Such a bittersweet haiku to begin the year. Hope your grandmother's health improves and you and yours have a good year.

"fighting death—
for another year."

Ouch. Not much of a life but better than the alternative? Wishing you peace.

The best to you and your family during this unsettled start to the year.

You have a beautiful site.

Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way.

Hey, all the best to you this new year. Sounds like it is starting out hard for you and your family. May you all have some peace and light ahead!

Beautiful, Rhino. May her passage be full of light and free of the mechanics of this material world.
