reminding me with brushes
of night, touch, smell...you

picture your body
held together embracing
awakened slumber
love lost (a haiku)
pierced by the sight of
you in conversation with
some other summer
heat wave (a haiku)
sun burnt sweat blooms on
freckeled sheets desiring
lovers calming touch
